Illinois High School Volleyball - Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family can't hold off St. Edward

In Monday's non-league bout, the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) volleyball team held off the visiting Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Green Wave now possess a 7-19 record. They play next when they host Timothy Christian for a Chicagoland Christian bout on Tuesday, October 7. St. Edward will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family falls to 7-5 on the year. The travel to Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL) to battle the Chargers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9.
