The Westlake Academy Blacksmiths were victorious over the visiting Clariden Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Blacksmiths now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Fort Worth THESA for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 7. Westlake Academy will clash with a Riders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Riders record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Clariden drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX) to confront the Cougars in a TAPPS 4A District 2 match on Thursday, October 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-6.
