Kansas High School Volleyball - Wheatland-Grinnell tips Dighton

The Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) volleyball held off the visiting Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Thunderhawks now possess a 15-12 record. They play next when they host Weskan for a Western Kansas Liberty bout on Monday, October 6. Wheatland-Grinnell will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Bethune (Bethune, CO). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Dighton drops to 16-10 on the season. The Hornets host Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS) to encounter the Wildcats in a Northwest Kansas battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 8-13. Wallace County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Victoria (Victoria, KS)
