Steilacoom Sentinels (Steilacoom, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Eatonville Cruisers (Eatonville, WA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Sentinels (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fife (Fife, WA). The Trojans come into the 2A South Puget Sound challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Fife beat Clover Park (Lakewood, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cruisers play the Franklin Pierce Cardinals (Tacoma, WA) in a 2A South Puget Sound challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Eatonville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Orting (Orting, WA).
