In Monday's league challenge, the host United Christian Academy Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers.

The Crusaders (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA). The Warriors come into the VACA challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy beat Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind (Staunton, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers (Waynesboro, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Fresta Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Stuart Hall (Staunton, VA).
