The West Charlotte Lions volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC)
The Wildcats (3-16) will now prepare for their challenge against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres enter the Greater Charlotte 7A/8A challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, South Mecklenburg was tipped by Hough (Cornelius, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. West Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
