The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the host Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL), saw Kankakee's volleyball squad top Grace Christian Academy by a tally of 2-0.
The Kays (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Falcons enter the Southland contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Thornridge was beaten by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Crusaders meet the Families of Faith Christian Academy Screaming Eagles (Channahon, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Grace Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
