Virginia High School Volleyball - Highland over Wakefield School

Fans at Monday's league contest between the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) and the host Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), observed Highland's volleyball team top Wakefield School by a count of 3-0.

The Hawks (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against The Covenant School (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, The Covenant School beat Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Owls meet the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) in a Greater Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Wakefield School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
