Fans at Monday's league contest between the Lindhurst Blazers (Olivehurst, CA) and the host Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA), observed Lindhurst's volleyball team hold off Highlands by a count of 3-2.

The Blazers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Sierra Delta League contest with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Golden Sierra was edged by Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Scots meet the Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) in a Sierra Delta League contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Highlands will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 8-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA).
