The South Plaquemines Hurricanes volleyball squad (Buras, LA), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA)

With the win, John Ehret improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Landry (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 10-5.

Next, the Hurricanes meet the Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA) in a Division IV District 11 challenge, on Thursday, October 9. South Plaquemines will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
