North Carolina High School Volleyball - Jones tips Washington Montessori

The Jones Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Washington Montessori Eagles to 2 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Lejeune for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, October 7. Jones will play a Devilpups team coming off a 3-2 league win over Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Devilpups record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Washington Montessori drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC) to play the Mariners in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Mariners come into the outing with a record of 2-12. Pamlico Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC)
