The Somerville Highlanders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Lynn English Bulldogs to 1 in the Highlanders league triumph on Monday.

The Highlanders now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Medford for a Greater Boston outing on Wednesday, October 8. Somerville will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Revere (Revere, MA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-7.

The Bulldogs (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Everett (Everett, MA). The Crimson Tide enter the Greater Boston game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Everett was dropped by Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA), 3-0, in a league game.
