The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) volleyball held off the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 3-2 in Monday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Jay M. Robinson for a South Piedmont 4A/5A bout on Tuesday, October 7. Northwest Cabarrus will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
Next, the Hornets battle the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 5-15 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
