Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Aztecs (21-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights come into the Desert Empire challenge with a 9-15 record. In their last challenge, Shadow Hills was beaten by Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rattlers meet the La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) in a Desert Empire test, on Wednesday, October 8. Rancho Mirage will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Blackhawks go into the test with a 4-22 record after their 3-1 league loss to Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA).
