Vermont High School Volleyball - St. Johnsbury Academy Rice Memorial

The Rice Memorial Green Knights prevailed the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

The Green Knights now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Essex for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 8. Rice Memorial will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, St. Johnsbury Academy drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to confront the Cougars in a Division 1 match on Wednesday, October 8. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 6-4. Mt. Mansfield won 3-1 in their recent league match against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT)
