The Longhorns (20-12) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Dallas, TX). The Patriots enter the 5A Region II District 13 contest with a 4-11 record.

In their next game, the Bears face the Adamson Leopards (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 test, on Wednesday, October 8. South Oak Cliff will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Leopards go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hillcrest (Dallas, TX).
