    In Thursday's league game, the Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) football team smashed the visiting Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL), by a final score of 54-8.

    The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Leroy (Leroy, AL). The Bears come into the 2A Region 1 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Leroy overwhelmed St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 28-0, in a league game.

    The Bulldogs now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Beach for a 2A Region 1 game on Friday, October 15. Blacksher will battle a team coming off a 44-13 league win over Washington County (Chatom, AL). The record now stands at 5-2.
