In Thursday's league battle, the host Flambeau Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Birchwood Bobcats.
The Falcons (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 17-12 record. In their last battle, Wittenberg-Birnamwood went down by Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bobcats encounter the Bruce Red Raiders (Bruce, WI) in a Lakeland - East battle, on Tuesday, October 12. Birchwood will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Edgar (Edgar, WI).
