Kansas High School Football - Aquinas nips Bishop Miege

October 7, 2022: Shawnee Mission, KS 66205

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Aquinas Saints football squad scored a close 29-26 victory over the Bishop Miege Stags.

In their next game, the Saints clash with the Blue Valley Tigers (Stilwell, KS) in a Eastern Kansas match, on Friday, October 14. Aquinas will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 14-7 league win over Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).

The Stags (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS). The Jaguars enter the Eastern Kansas match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Blue Valley West was nudged by St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS), 35-28, in a league match.
