The Verdigris Cardinals football team (Claremore, OK), was tipped 15-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK)

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jay (Jay, OK). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Jay was tipped by Cascia Hall (Tulsa, OK), 49-14, in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cascia Hall for a 3A District 4 challenge on Thursday, October 13. Verdigris will meet a Commandos team coming off a 49-14 league win over Jay (Jay, OK). The Commandos record now stands at 5-1.
