In Friday's league game, the Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO) football team smashed the host Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO), by a score of 64-6.
The Cadets (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Warren Central overwhelmed Carmel (Carmel, IN), 20-13, in a non-league game.
The Golden Griffins now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valle Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, October 14. Vianney will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-7 non-league win over Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 7-0.
