Texas High School Football - McGregor drops to Lorena

October 7, 2022: Lorena, TX 76655

In Friday's league game, the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) football team knocked off the visiting McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX), by a score of 49-21.

The Leopards (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A-1 Region III District 11 game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Rockdale toppled Troy (Troy, TX), 34-27, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host C.H. Yoe for a 3A-1 Region III District 11 game on Friday, October 14. McGregor will battle a Yoemen team coming off a 48-13 league win over Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Yoemen record now stands at 4-2.
