Tennessee High School Football - Moore County prevails Loretto

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Moore County Raiders (Lynchburg, TN) and the host Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN), observed Moore County's football squad defeat Loretto by a count of 62-42.

The Raiders now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Collinwood for a 1A Region 5 contest on Friday, October 14. Moore County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 33-28 non-league win over Richland (Lynnville, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN) in a 2A Region 5 contest, on Friday, October 14. Loretto will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Champions go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 34-0 non-league win over Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN).
