West Virginia High School Football - Meadow Bridge knocks off Webster County

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Webster County Highlanders to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Summers County for a Coalfield A battle on Friday, October 14. Meadow Bridge will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 54-7 league win over Sherman (Seth, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Highlanders play the Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) in a Little Kanawha battle, on Friday, October 14. Webster County will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Rebels go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 34-32 league loss to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV).
