The crowd at Friday's league test between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the host West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV), saw North Tahoe's soccer squad overwhelm West Wendover by a count of 12-0.
The Lakers now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to White Pine for a 2A North test on Saturday, October 8. North Tahoe will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, West Wendover drops to 0-11 on the season. The Wolverines host Sage Ridge (Reno, NV) to meet the Scorpions in a 2A North test on Friday, October 14. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 9-1.
