The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Piedra Vista Panthers to 0 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandia for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 12. La Cueva will meet a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, West Mesa was dropped by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
