Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Broadalbin-Perth Patriots (Broadalbin, NY), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tartans face the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 10. Scotia-Glenville will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY).

The Patriots now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Queensbury for a Foothills Council- North challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Broadalbin-Perth will face a Spartans team coming off a 5-0 league win over Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 9-1.
