North Carolina High School Soccer - Eno River knocks off Woods Charter

October 7, 2022: Hillsborough, NC 27278

Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) in a Triangle North 1A challenge, on Monday, October 17. Eno River will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Flying Lions enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC).

The Wolves now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cristo Rey Research Triangle for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10. Woods Charter will confront a Bulls team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Bulls record now stands at 5-3.
