Texas High School Volleyball - Coldspring-Oakhurst overwhelmed by Anderson-Shiro

In Friday's league battle, the host Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.
The Fighting Owls (22-10) will now prepare for their battle against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX). The Longhorns come into the 3A Region III District 23 battle with a 25-7 record. In their last battle, Tarkington achieved victory over New Waverly (New Waverly, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Trinity (Euless, TX).
