The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) and the visiting Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX), saw Caldwell's volleyball squad beat Austin Achieve by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Caldwell upgrades its record to 15-13 on the year. The Hornets travel to La Grange (La Grange, TX) to play the Leopards in a 4A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, October 14. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 21-18.
The Polar Bears now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Giddings for a 4A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, October 11. Austin Achieve will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 24-14.
