The California Military Institute Rough Riders (Perris, CA) volleyball tipped the visiting Nuview Bridge Knights (Nuevo, CA), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, California Military Institute upgrades its record to 1-7 on the year. The Rough Riders travel to Desert Christian Academy (Bermuda Dunes, CA) to play the Conquerors in a South Valley outing on Monday, October 10. The Conquerors go into the outing with a record of 15-0. Desert Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent league outing against San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA)

The Knights now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School for a South Valley outing on Monday, October 10. Nuview Bridge will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Santa Rosa Academy (Menifee, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-6.
