Texas High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon tips Harmony

In Friday's league contest, the Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Tigers face the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Mount Vernon will attempt to better on its 22-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 25-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX).

With the loss, Harmony moves to 16-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Winona (Winona, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 4-19.
