The Hawthorne Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Inglewood Sentinels to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beverly Hills for a Ocean game on Monday, October 10. Hawthorne will meet a Normans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Normans record now stands at 13-13.

The Sentinels (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Anaheim (Anaheim, CA). The Colonists enter the non-league game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, Anaheim dropped by Western (Anaheim, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
