The Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX) volleyball nudged the host Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors (Austin, TX), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Richards School for Young Women Leaders upgrades its record to 18-17 on the year. The host Eastside Early College (Austin, TX) to face the Panthers in a 5A Region III District 24 outing on Tuesday, October 11. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 5-15. Eastside Early College lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Crockett (Austin, TX)

The Raptors now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to McCallum for a 5A Region III District 24 outing on Tuesday, October 11. Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Navarro (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 22-13.
