In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Normandy Invaders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Solon Comets.
The Invaders (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Lakewood, OH). The Rangers come into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record.
Next, the Comets clash with the Wadsworth Grizzlies (Wadsworth, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Solon will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH).
