Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Branson Pirates (Branson, MO) and the visiting Bolivar Liberators (Bolivar, MO), witnessed Branson's softball squad tip Bolivar by a count of 4-3.

The Pirates now sport a 16-16 record. They play next when they host Cassville for a non-league match on Saturday, October 7. Branson will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Seneca (Seneca, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-14.

With the loss, Bolivar moves to 9-14 on the season. The Liberators travel to Howell (St. Charles, MO) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, October 7. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 16-7. Howell lost 4-1 in their recent league match against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO)
