In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Pana Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Altamont Indians.
The Panthers (16-9) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Tri-City achieved victory over South County (Franklin, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Indians clash with the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Altamont will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Wooden Shoes come into the battle with a 14-13 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Newton (Newton, IL).
