The Quartz Hill Royals volleyball team (Quartz Hill, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA)

The Barons (10-15) will now prepare for their challenge against San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 16-11 record. In their last challenge, San Joaquin Memorial was dropped by La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royals meet the Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) in a Golden challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Quartz Hill will attempt to move on its 18-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 21-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, CA).
