The East Jefferson Warriors topped the visiting Booker T. Washington Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. East Jefferson will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.
The Lions (9-16) will now prepare for their test against Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Academy of the Sacred Heart gained a win over East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
