The Kiowa County Mavericks volleyball team (Greensburg, KS), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS)

The Red Aces (17-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Meade (Meade, KS). The Buffaloes enter the non-league challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Meade was dropped by South Gray (Montezuma, KS), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks meet the Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Kiowa County will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS).
