The West Elk Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 12-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluestem for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 10. West Elk will meet a Lions team coming off a 0-0 non-league Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS). The Lions record now stands at 6-17.

The Spartans (15-17) will now prepare for their game against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils enter the non-league game with a 20-12 record. In their last game, Sedan gained a win over West Elk (Howard, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
