South Carolina High School Volleyball - Conway can't hold off West Ashley

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting West Ashley Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Conway Tigers.

The Wildcats (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Socastee was edged by Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Conway will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record. The Raptors come into the battle with a 6-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
