The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR) and the host Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), saw Corbett's volleyball squad beat Rainier by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Corbett upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Scappoose (Scappoose, OR) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Scappoose lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR)

The Columbians now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Neah-Kah-Nie for a 3A Coastal Range bout on Tuesday, October 10. Rainier will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 3-15.
