The Crescent City Christian Pioneers held off the host Willow Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pioneers now have a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lafourche for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Crescent City Christian will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-11.
The Lions (6-9) will now prepare for their test against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 8-18 record. In their last test, East Jefferson was nudged by Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
