In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Highland Park Giants.

The Rams (19-8) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors come into the Girls Catholic (GCAC) battle with a 23-4 record. In their last battle, De La Salle lost by Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Giants clash with the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Highland Park will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The Corsairs come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).
