West Virginia High School Volleyball - Oak Glen over Fairmont Senior

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) and the host Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV), saw Oak Glen's volleyball squad beat Fairmont Senior by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Oak Glen upgrades its record to 22-3 on the year. The Golden Bears travel to North Marion (Farmington, WV) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-14. North Marion lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Clarksburg, WV)

The Polar Bears now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host East Fairmont for a Big Ten bout on Saturday, October 7. Fairmont Senior will play a Bees squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Bees record now stands at 11-12.
