The Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Guardian Christian Academy Royal Knights to 1 in the Warhawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warhawks now have a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veritas School for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Spirit HomeSchool will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-9.
The Royal Knights (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA). The Tempest enter the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Trinity at Meadow View held off Highland (Warrenton, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
