The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers prevailed the host Spectrum Sting volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lakers now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Canby (Canby, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 8-6.
The Sting (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Cubs enter the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Kimball dropped by Rockford (Rockford, MN), 3-1, in a non-league test.
