In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Mountain Home Bombers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jonesboro Hurricane.

The Bombers (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Valley View (Jonesboro, AR). The Blazers come into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Valley View achieved victory over Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Hurricane clash with the Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Jonesboro will attempt to advance on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 26-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Lisa Academy North (Sherwood, AR).
