The Lake View Chiefs volleyball team (San Angelo, TX), was nudged 3-2 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX)

The Mustangs (7-24) will now prepare for their challenge against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos enter the 4A Region I District 5 challenge with a 13-17 record. In their last challenge, Levelland nipped Snyder (Snyder, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Lake View will attempt to move on its 0-23 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 7-23 record after their 3-1 league loss to Big Spring (Big Spring, TX).
